Dr. Eric Bensimon
Dr. Éric Bensimon earned a medical degree from Université Laval de Québec in 1993. He then completed his training in plastic surgery at the University of Montreal. After graduating as a plastic surgeon, he undertook an overspeciality in maxillofacial and aesthetic cranio surgery at the University of Toronto.
In addition to his purely aesthetic practice, Dr. Eric Bensimon is actively involved in teaching plastic surgery at the Université de Montréal.
Dr. Bensimon is currently President of the Association of Specialists in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery of Quebec and President of the Canadian Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery.
Dr. Maud Bélanger
Dr. Maud Bélanger obtained in 2005 her medical degree from Université Laval in Quebec City. In 2010, she completed her residency in plastic surgery at the Université de Montréal. Subsequently, she continued her overspeciality in microsurgery, breast surgery and gender-assertive surgery at the renowned University of the UZ in Ghent, Belgium.
Before devoting himself entirely to private practice, Dr. Bélanger will practice at the Hôtel-Dieu in Saint-Jérôme. It now operates at the Metropolitan Centre of Surgery. Dr. Bélanger is also a professor of clinical education for residents in training and is responsible for the aesthetic component of the plastic surgery program committee of the Faculty of Medicine of the Université de Montréal. She also actively participates in the microsurgical training of plastic surgery residents and in the training on gender affirmation surgery of residents and specialists in multiple disciplines.
